A final photo before the baby came out. After this smile, everything came fast. Katy was great to watch, trying to be proper and polite while swearing like a docker.This was a totally different experience than Nyssa's birth, which was an all day affair, where we were able to work out a rhythm and work as a team.
With Leila, Katy was so nausious and hurried, that she was more like a women you'd see on TV, "Gordon, brush your teeth." "Gordon, don't touch me like that...Like this!"
Just seconds after she was born, I've not even cut the umbilical cord yet.
I take one quick nap, and my bloody and sticky daughter turns into a movie star. I've not yet held this clean darling, (I was only given the moister swaddled version) but I can't wait.Katy and Leila are sleeping next to me, they are both doing wonderfully. Katy has been up and out of bed, she's eaten a little, and is in great spirits.

I absolutely love hearing Leila's lusty cries! WOW, she's incredibly healthy and beautiful looking. I predict her to be very easy and laid back. Comes on time, on the weekend, no problems. Congrats and Love to all! Laura and Paul
